Erkin Rahimov

Erkin Rahimov was born in 1983 in Baku. After graduating from school, he first entered the Azerbaijan Medical University and then continued his education at the Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty of Istanbul University. After graduating in 2007, he received his specialty education in Pediatrics at the Department of Children's Health and Diseases, Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University.

In 2012-2014, Dr. Rahimov served as Head of Neonatology at the Istanbul Memorial Hizmet Hospital. In 2014, he moved back to Azerbaijan and started working as Head of Pediatrics at the Baku Medical Plaza Hospital group. Since 2019 he has also been working as lecturer at the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan State Medical Training Institute.

Dr. Rahimov is chairman of the board of the Azerbaijan Pediatric Society, member of the board of the Cystic Fibrosis Patients Public Union and member of the Standing Committee of the International Pediatric Association.

Dr. Rahimov’s has published research in local and foreign journals and has participated in drafting many journals and protocols. 

Erkin Rahimov is also a consulting expert at the Azerbaijan Ministry of Health.
